Hey Disney Friends!
Welcome back to the blog! It’s been awhile! I’ve been looking for ways to do DIY Disney things without breaking the bank and I think I did it with this one! This DIY Mickey Pumpkin is going to look great with any season and it’s so affordable!
I spent about $12 MAX and I was able to make 2 cute Mickey Pumpkins!
What you’ll need (Photo References below):
-Pumpkins (I got these from Dollar Tree)
-Hot Glue Gun
-Spray Paint of your choice (I got mine from Walmart)
-1 Skewer Stick
Let’s get started!
Grab the bigger pumpkin and hot glue two little ones too it. Make sure you angle them perfectly to make a Mickey. Hot glue them and hold for about a minute until the glue cools down. I didn’t take off the stems because I thought it looked super cute but that’s optional.
Make as many as you want! I only made 2 because that’s all I wanted. I want to find bigger ones to put around my house.
Make sure you’re outside for the spray painting part. Insert the skewer at the bottom of the big pumpkin CAREFULLY.
Spray!!! The skewer helps to get every single crevice from the bottom to the top.
Let Dry!
***WHERE I MESSED UP!
As you see, the Gold one looks AMAZING. That spray paint only needed one coat. The white spray paint barely showed up on the little one so I ended up painting black over it which worked out and looks more “Halloweeney”.
So there you go! Simple, cheap, and easy! I hope this was easy to understand! I can’t wait to see you make them! Tag me on your photos or stories!
See you next week! I will be starting up a newsletter soon for my blog so please be sure to look out for that so you can enter your email! Thank you!
Love you guys!
Alex xoxo
