Hey guys! Alex here! I am always so thankful that you come back and check out my blog! You’re awesome!
Today I wanted to show you guys a ton of photos from the Disney Pop Up that I took! My BFF sista Ahnna came with me and dealt with my extra-ness. lol
So we bought the tickets a week in advance and they are $30 each! It is located in the Downtown Disney District where the old ESPN bar used to be. These pop-ups don’t happen often so the price, to me personally, is completely worth it. My brother and I went to Candytopia when it was in Santa Monica and was also the same price and we would do it again! You can only buy the tickets online! They don’t even have registers when you’re there so don’t even try to wait and buy them there. lol
Anyways, you can totally tell the amount of time and effort that was put into this pop-up. It was breath taking! My Insta Disney heart couldn’t even handle it. We have annual passports so we went into the parks before and after the pop-up so we obviously parked in regular parking for us but I believe there is designated parking for the pop-up, I am honestly not sure how much it is if there is a fee.
We went mid-day and there was a good amount of people with us. The lobby is so cute and comfortable! These pop-ups are amazing but I can get pretty claustrophobic and this wasn’t too bad. There were moments where I just had to take a second but if you’re severe, I would not do it. There are hallways and rooms that get pretty compact and you touch and bump other people. It gets hot FAST so just keep that in mind.
They do not allow strollers! When I went to Candytopia with my brother, they didn’t allow strollers and Kai was a chubby nugget. Josh and I had to switch back and forth between my 2 babies so that is pretty inconvenient however, I understand why they do it. I didn’t take my kids this time because I really wanted to experience the whole pop-up without having to chase my babies or worry about them knocking something over. Several times the cast members inform you not to touch something because of how fragile it is.
Also, the cast members don’t ALL know how to take photos! Be courteous and if you know you can help someone take better photos, just take them for them! When we were there, there was this mama holding her baby and obviously she needed help with her photos taken and the cast members she was asking did not know what they were doing. I took a few for her in hopes she would have a good few to remember! Ahnna wasn’t always good either but she is getting better at taking photos so let’s make sure to applaud her! hahaha!
There is this super cute shop after you’re done in the lobby that has pop-up decor, attire, and other stuff but the photos were enough for me! I hope this was fun to read for you! This was in no way sponsored (I wish) but I wanted to write it because I have yet to see any influencers explain their exact experience - good or bad! Overall, I enjoyed it and would do it again! I’m extra so I like this stuff as opposed to others who were like “this was not worth $30”. What are you going to do?!
P.S. I took my camera and forgot to charge it so it died the second we got there. lol Oh well! We still got great photos!
